Opal Seaside is located at 184 Garden Street, Warriewood and is one of the two operational aged care facilities for OAC within the Northern Beaches.

Planix Projects were engaged to undertake the Due Diligence (DD) on behalf of Opal Specialist Aged Care. Upon the completion of the DD and the approval of the board the project proceeded to Schematic Design and Development Approval submission. The DA approval was received in the quickest timeframe ever experienced by Opal across their portfolio.

The proposed development will be undertaken in 2 stages with a total 156 beds. Staging of the project enables the services to be continually provided during the construction phase. In the first stage demolish vacant buildings on the southern half of the site, and then construct new two stories RAC across the site and complete the external work and landscaping.
