Planix Projects have been engaged as Project Managers on the Hawkins Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) development since the project’s inception. The Hawkins Masonic site is the Royal Freemasons’ Benevolent Institution’s (RFBI) largest aged care community with an existing one hundred and thirty-one bed RACF and one hundred and sixty aged care independent living units.
The project will deliver a new one hundred and fifty bed RACF which will be RFBI’s flagship state of the art facility.
Planix Projects’ have delivered the following on Hawkins RACF to date:
• Hawkins site master plan which will involve new Independent living unit facilities and health services,
• Development of room data sheets that will be utilized on all new RFBI facilities,
• Due diligence investigations,
• Leading design co-ordination meetings to develop Approved for Construction documentation,
• Approved project Development Application,
• Development of tender documentation and award for an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) Contract,
• Managing early works package.
