Planix Projects were engaged by Whiddon to manage the Kyogle Village RACF upgrade project, in regional NSW. The project involved demolition of a portion of the existing facility and construction of new extension which comprised a lower ground level containing back of house facilities and two levels of residential rooms and facilities above.

The project consisted of the following works:

• Construction of 32 new bedroom suites,
• Extensive extension and refurbishment of the existing kitchen and servery,
• Reconfiguring of existing family room to allow additional offices,
• Partial upgrade of Nurse call system throughout facility,
• Alterations and additions to the carpark,
• Upgrade of existing building services to comply with current regulations.
