Planix Projects delivered a mission-critical standby power upgrade at Whiddon’s Casino aged care facility, installing a 310kVA generation system with 24-hour onsite fuel autonomy and integrating it into the site’s existing electrical infrastructure. Delivered within a fully occupied, 24/7 care environment, the works demanded meticulous staging, live electrical isolations and close coordination with clinical operations to maintain uninterrupted essential services to residents throughout. Planix Projects led the project end to end, from power demand data logging and engineering design through to load testing, commissioning and handover, as a key milestone in Whiddon’s state-wide energy resilience programme.
