Planix Projects delivered a mission-critical standby power installation at Whiddon’s Narrabri aged care facility, comprising a 310kVA generation system with 24-hour fuel autonomy and a new automatic transfer system engineered for seamless changeover in the event of a network failure. Executed within a live, fully operational care environment, the program required carefully sequenced electrical works, full-load commissioning and continuous coordination with facility operations to protect continuity of service to vulnerable residents. Planix Projects managed every phase through to completion, including a structured post-delivery review with the client and operations team to embed lessons learnt across the wider programme.
