BaptistCare is a leading not-for-profit aged care, retirement living and community housing provider. Planix Projects were engaged as the Project Manager to work closely with key stakeholders, including the Residential and Maintenance Manager. The projects also involved engaging expert consultants including Acoustic designers, Architects and Mechanical engineers. DHL is a Residential Aged Care Facility that offers 66 single beds and 13 dementia secure rooms.
Key projects managed by Planix Projects were:

• DHL Kitchen upgrade – The DHL kitchen was restructured and upgraded to increase usability. This project involved providing temporary kitchen services whilst the project was constructed to ensure the facility could continue to run as it usually does
• Mechanical upgrade – Planix Projects managed the design and implementation of the mechanical common area upgrades
• Landscape re-design – The central courtyard within DHL was re-designed to suit the needs of the residents particularly in relation to accessibility
