The Beaudesert Star Aged Care Facility is located in regional Queensland. The village consists of 78 units spread over a series of interconnected buildings.
Planix Projects were engaged by Whiddon to facilitate the acquisition of the Beaudesert site and managed the design and delivery of the project including:

• Additional 24 units on the ground floor
• New commercial laundry facility
• New Kitchen
• Main foyer entry
• Dry and wet fire including sprinklers to the entire facility
• Landscaping

The design involved engagement of an Early Contractor Involvement Contractor (ECI). Upon completion of the ECI process, a competitive Design and Construct tender was undertaken and a Principal Contractor was engaged. The project was delivered in multiple stages, with the facility remaining fully operational requiring extensive co-ordination with Stakeholders.
