Planix Projects is establishing new standby power capability at Whiddon’s Fawcett Street facility in Glenfield, a complex brownfield upgrade that involves relocating and recommissioning an existing 440kVA generation system and installing an entirely new main switchboard and automatic transfer system on a site with no prior backup power. The works combine a statutory development approval pathway with intricate electrical staging across a live operational environment, requiring close management of planning authorities, engineers and facility stakeholders. Planix Projects is leading the planning strategy, design coordination and delivery program from the front.
