The scope for the Project included the refurbishment and expansion of an existing High School’s core facilities and provision of increased permanent teaching spaces. The project objective is to increase school capacity from 900 students to 2000 students to meet the projected increase in demand. Planix Projects were engaged to lead the consultant team through Master planning and Concept design Phases to develop the Final Business Case for submission to NSW Treasury for project funding.
Key components of the project scope were as follows:
• Addition of 54 new permanent teaching spaces
• Refurbishment of existing teaching spaces and core facilities to meet current standards
• Inclusion of a Stage 1 design for a building with a new library, administration and lecture theatre to increase the profile of the school within the community
