Planix Projects were engaged for the Planning and Delivery phase on behalf of School Infrastructure NSW. The scope for Carlingford West Public School included the refurbishment and expansion of an existing Public School’s core facilities and provision of increased permanent teaching spaces. The project objective is to increase the school’s permanent capacity to 1600 students.
Planix Projects were engaged to lead the consultant team through Master planning and Concept design Phases to develop the Final Business Case for submission to NSW Treasury for project funding.
Key components of the project scope were as follows:
• Address traffic access issues to improve safety and accessibility for staff and students
• Replacement of over 40 demountable buildings
• Refurbishment of existing permanent teaching spaces to meet current standards
• Create a total of 53 permanent teaching spaces
