Cumberland High School

The scope for Cumberland High School included the refurbishment and expansion of the existing High School’s core facilities and provision of new permanent teaching spaces. The project objective is to increase the school’s capacity to 2000 students whilst also increasing the profile of the school within the local community.
Planix Projects were engaged to lead the consultant team through Master planning and Concept design Phases to develop the Final Business Case for submission to NSW Treasury for project funding.
Key components of the project scope were as follows:
• Upgrade core facilities from Stream 5 to Stream 12
• Refurbishment of the existing teaching spaces to meet current standards
• Create 70 permanent teaching spaces
• Address traffic access issues to improve safety and accessibility for staff and students
