The medium density residential project consisted Townhouses and an underground basement carpark situated in Merrylands. Planix Projects were engaged three months after the commencement of the design and construct contractor commencing works when it was identified that the program and overall management of the Project were not acceptable.
Planix Projects introduced commercial controls, quality processes, planning techniques and an overall expertise of building to improve the delivery of the Project and commercial position of the client.
Planix Projects’ positive impact was noted immediately and accordingly the Client requested that Planix Projects be further involved with other areas of the project such as Design consultancy management, Site surveillance, Defect management and safety surveillance.
The Project was successfully delivered to the Client’s expectations in relation to cost, program and quality that has ensured longevity and low maintenance exposure.
