Planix Projects were engaged to deliver additional office accommodation for Whiddon’s Support Services. With the expansion came the opportunity to address other pressing issues to do with the long-term functionality and amenity of the building including:
• A new face for Corporate Services including a clearly identifiable point of entry to be easily accessible
• A secure reception area
• The inclusion of a lift for vertical access through the building
• New open office areas
• Conference facilities on a new Level 3
• General upgrade of the building to be more complementary to the new extension
• Improved staff areas on Level 1 including expanded open areas for informal meetings, lunch breaks and staff functions
