The redevelopment of Sutherland Hospital improved the quality of health care and enabled efficiencies in the delivery of services.
The project featured a new and expanded Emergency Department, purpose- built Children’s Emergency Unit, a new emergency short stay unit and expanded high-dependency and intensive care, as well as general medical and surgical inpatient capacity.
The project also delivered a new accessibility friendly pedestrian and traffic zone linking the hospital main entry.
